Nokia and Microsoft integrate agentic AI for telecom network automation

Nokia and Microsoft announced on September 17 a major expansion of their partnership to create a unified data foundation integrating Nokia Data Suite with Microsoft Fabric. This integration reduces data preparation time from weeks to minutes. The initial use cases target radio access network optimization, specifically autonomous Voice over New Radio assurance and geographic user experience analytics. Both companies emphasize rapid actionability and preservation of operator control in multi-vendor environments. Nokia shares rose approximately 4% on the Helsinki exchange, bringing year-to-date gains to roughly 66%.
