Solana activated Transaction V1 on September 15, tripling data capacity to 4,096 bytes per transaction, allowing developers to bundle complex operations into a single step. The network is preparing to reduce slot intervals to 250 milliseconds, with activation expected on September 18, marking the third reduction from the original 400-millisecond target. In August, Solana processed 5.2 billion non-vote transactions, surpassing July’s previous record by 19%. Applications on the network generated $40.8 million in revenue last week while decentralized exchanges handled approximately $16.59 billion. Stablecoin activity reached 888,000 daily active addresses in September, compared to 333,000 one year earlier, representing a 2.7-fold increase.
