PwC found 79 percent of U.S. executives reporting adoption, while Capgemini identified only 14 percent after verifying what respondents meant by « agent. » The U.S. Census Bureau found 19.8 percent of businesses using AI as of May 2026. MIT Project NANDA’s preliminary finding that 95 percent of organizations get zero return measured profit-and-loss impact within roughly six months in a sample of 52 interviews, 153 conference survey responses and 300 public deployments.
