Instinct, the AI assistant startup behind an invite-only personal AI assistant, is reportedly seeking $1 billion in new funding at a $10 billion valuation. Sequoia Capital and Benchmark are in talks to lead the round. The company was last valued at $2.5 billion following a $250 million Series B round last August, bringing its total funding to $350 million. Founded last year by Noah Shinn, a former researcher at AI customer-service startup Sierra, Instinct’s user base has grown to over 100,000 as the service expands. The potential financing comes as the startup faces capacity constraints while broadening access to its platform.
