The aelf blockchain experienced a block production halt of approximately one week following malicious smart-contract activity, leading to a controlled recovery. Core services, including public nodes, the aelfscan explorer, FairyVault transfers, Awaken trading and the TMRW DAO staking interface, have been restored. No network staking rewards were generated during the halt, and there are no rewards from that period to claim. Exchange deposits and withdrawals are resuming gradually, with schedules varying by venue. Investigators identified 155 transactions associated with the malicious activity, but no unauthorized transfers of ordinary users’ assets or exposure of their wallet keys had been found as of August 26, according to aelf.
