Bologna FC dismissed head coach Domenico Tedesco after barely 105 days in charge. The Italian club collected only one point from their first four Serie A matches this season, scoring two goals and conceding five. The decision follows a club hierarchy meeting on September 15, 2026 to discuss Tedesco’s future. Tedesco, who previously managed RB Leipzig, Fenerbahçe and the Belgian national team, was serving a two-match ban for verbal abuse toward a referee during Bologna’s last draw against Sassuolo. Stefano Pioli, Thiago Motta and Raffaele Palladino are the leading candidates to replace him.
