Legendary trader Peter Brandt published an analysis on X about market speculation, stating that markets redistribute wealth from small investors to large institutional players operating in the upstairs private poker room. He highlighted that fewer than 3 speculators out of 1000 succeed long-term, attributing this high failure rate to a lack of understanding of market structure itself. Brandt compared small traders to « peons » against major players, specifying that retail traders with 5 to 20 contracts per trade do not really count in the real market game. Bitcoin remains below its September 2026 record of $82,283 while traders await central bank rate decisions this week, including the Federal Reserve’s on Wednesday.
