Fetch.ai releases A2A Outbound Adapter for seamless agent integration

Share

Fetch.ai has released the A2A Outbound Adapter, a tool enabling its autonomous agents to communicate with external AI agents through the A2A Protocol, an interoperability standard notably linked to Google Cloud. The adapter offers two configuration modes for handling server connections and includes advanced features such as automatic agent discovery, health monitoring, and keyword-based routing. It also features a payment bridging mechanism that translates between A2A and AP2 payment mandates and Fetch.ai’s own Payment Protocol, demonstrated through an A2A cart store example using Skyfire payments. Version 1.0.0 of the A2A Protocol is anticipated for March 2026, and the FET token has merged into the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance alongside SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol.
