Bitcoin faces key support test at $78.3K as US crude oil hits three-month high

Share

Bitcoin dropped to $77,600, its lowest since September 3, testing crucial support at $78,300. US crude oil (WTI) surged toward $95 per barrel, its highest since June 8, while Brent crude targeted $100 for the first time since July 24. Houthi strikes on Saudi cities and oil infrastructure pressured US equities, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq down 0.5% and 0.4% respectively. Analyst Rekt Capital compares the current situation to Bitcoin’s failed May breakout, which had reached $82,800 before dropping to around $57,000, warning that a break below $78,300 would confirm a bearish trend.
