U.S. stocks usually stumble after Fed hikes, but these markets tend to climb, says Citi

U.S. equities generally tend to stumble at the beginning of the Federal Reserve’s interest rate hiking cycles. According to Citigroup strategists led by Beata Manthey, U.S. markets underperform after the first rate hike decision before advancing over the following six to twelve months. However, Japanese and European markets generally outperform before this recovery.
