Mizuho cuts Intel target to $92 despite AI-driven growth potential

Mizuho Securities analyst Vijay Rakesh lowered his price target on Intel from $109 to $92 while maintaining a Neutral rating. This revision represents a roughly 32% pullback from the July 2026 peak of $135. Mizuho acknowledges long-term potential driven by server CPU demand for AI and advanced packaging revenue via EMIB-T technology, projected at $3.5 billion by 2029, but highlights current headwinds from foundry margin pressures and weak PC demand. The $92 target sits well below the Wall Street consensus of approximately $116. In Q2 2026, the Data Center and AI segment revenue climbed 24% quarter-over-quarter.
