Robinhood Chain Never Stopped But its Blobs Did Stop Reaching Ethereum For 14 Minutes

Share

Robinhood Chain maintained uninterrupted block production of 106,756 blocks over three hours, but its batch posting system to Ethereum experienced two outages totaling exactly 14 minutes. The first pause lasted 8 minutes and 36 seconds while 263 blob slots remained available on Ethereum, with base fees at 0.0086 gwei against a standing bid of 0.0616 gwei. The second pause of 5 minutes and 24 seconds is better explained by rising blob prices beyond the poster’s ceiling. Increased activity on Base, which nearly tripled its blob usage, contributed to market tension. Over 24 hours, Robinhood Chain generated $4.59 million in fees, $1.69 billion in DEX volume and $839.7 million in TVL.
