A fake website claiming to offer a leaked copy of GTA 6 is stealing cryptocurrency from visitors who connect their wallets. The site loads a wallet drainer as soon as the page opens and targets seven blockchain networks: Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base, and Fantom. The offer proposes the game for 50 dollars or 1 SOL, approximately 102 dollars, but the code drains the entire balance instead of the stated amount. Scam Sniffer estimates that these kits caused nearly 494 million dollars in losses in 2024 alone, affecting more than 330,000 addresses. GTA 6 will launch on November 19, 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S; any page promising such a game while asking users to connect a crypto wallet is a scam.
