Ripple has pledged $300,000 in emergency aid following devastating floods in Nepal and Tibet. The funds will go to World Central Kitchen and Mercy Corps to support emergency meal distribution as well as water and sanitation efforts. More than 100 people have been killed and hundreds remain missing in this disaster caused by an ice-rock avalanche from a glacier. The districts of Rasuwa and Nuwakot, located near the Chinese border, have been particularly hard hit. Ripple has been working with World Central Kitchen since 2020 to deliver millions of meals to affected communities and first responders.
