Ethereum sees $1B in buying before leverage arrives – What happens next?

Ethereum has seen nearly one billion dollars in buying over eight days, including a whale wallet acquiring 5,425 ETH for $13.55 million and another address receiving 40,000 ETH worth $100.09 million from Binance. BlackRock’s ETHA ETF recorded $889.8 million in net purchases during the same period. Simultaneously, ETH reserves on exchanges have dropped to 14.93 million, declining steadily throughout the year and reducing available supply. Ethereum’s Coinbase Premium Index has turned positive at 0.029, signaling increased demand from American investors, while open interest remains moderate at $14.5 billion, indicating a market led by spot buying rather than leverage.
