Bitcoin’s rebound, which briefly hit $80,000 after falling to around $62,000 in just one week, has put 69% of its supply in profit according to analytics platform CryptoQuant. However, this proportion is largely driven by tokens that have remained dormant for years, as $617 billion out of a total of over $1 trillion still remains at a loss. Analysts note that this metric has stayed above 50% for most of the current cycle, limiting the exceptional nature of this rally.
