Nvidia on Wednesday announced a revenue growth forecast of 70% for fiscal year 2028, significantly exceeding analysts’ expectations of approximately 44% growth. The company reported second-quarter revenue of $96.2 billion, up 106% year-over-year, and guided for $108 billion in the third quarter. Fiscal 2028 revenue is projected in the range of $690 billion to $700 billion, more than $100 billion above the $570 billion analysts had been modeling. CEO Jensen Huang noted that demand exceeds 70% but supply constraints are limiting growth. The stock rallied more than 4% in after-hours trading. Nvidia also faces criticism over its investments in AI industry companies, with CFO Colette Kress defending a low-risk, high-reward strategy.
