Behind this figure, major players are concentrated in just a few countries: Luxembourg hosts Coinbase, Bitstamp and Ripple Payments; Ireland is home to Kraken and Interactive Brokers; Austria licenses Bitpanda, Bybit and KuCoin. Germany totals 70 entities, including many regional banks, compared to 34 in France where Paymium remains the only French player authorized to operate a trading platform. Binance remains absent from the European register, while Poland has still not designated the national authority empowered to process MiCA license applications, forcing Polish companies to turn to another jurisdiction.
