Apple announced a launch event at its Cupertino headquarters on Sept. 9, with the tagline « Surprise and shine ». Tim Cook will step down as CEO and be succeeded by John Ternus on Sept. 1, becoming the company’s executive chairman. Analysts expect new iPhones, Apple Watches and the company’s first folding phone to be unveiled. A new version of Siri called Siri AI using large language model technology will also be presented.
