Uniswap controls over 98% of all Coinbase tokenized stock token deposits on the Base network, holding $943,200 out of a total of $960,300 deposited across DeFi protocols. Coinbase launched B20-standard tokenized US stocks enabling fractional ownership of shares in companies including Apple, Nvidia, Meta and Alphabet, backed 1:1 by real shares held by custodian Alpaca and regulated by the Abu Dhabi Global Market. These tokens are available to non-US users and tradeable 24 hours a day. On launch day, $4.5M was minted, $3M was provided as DEX liquidity, and $10.8M was traded within 24 hours. The gap between these initial figures and the current low DeFi deposit amounts indicates that most minted tokens remain in wallets rather than being deployed in DeFi protocols.
