Meta Platforms is planning to launch Hatch, its consumer AI agent, between late August and early September. The premium tier could cost up to $199.99 per month with higher usage limits. The company generated $60.8 billion in second-quarter revenue, with more than 97% coming from advertising. Capital expenditures reached $31.08 billion in the quarter, driving free cash flow down to $784 million from $8.55 billion a year earlier. The launch of Hatch would give Meta a revenue stream independent from advertisers, as the stock has lost over 15% since the beginning of the year.
