Gemini has enabled XRP deposits and withdrawals via the XRP Ledger (XRPL) for users in Singapore, according to an announcement by CEO Tyler Winklevoss on August 25. The exchange, which already allows users to fund accounts in Singapore dollars and trade over 70 cryptocurrencies, is significantly expanding its XRP offering in the Asian market. This move follows a series of XRP-related initiatives, including the addition of XRP as cross-collateral for derivatives trading in July and the launch of an XRP edition credit card offering up to 4% cashback on eligible purchases. Gemini data shows that users who held their XRP rewards for at least one year saw them increase by 453%.
