The former CEO of Zondacrypto, Przemyslaw Kral, is cooperating with Polish prosecutors under Article 60, seeking a lighter sentence in what has become one of Europe’s largest crypto fraud cases. Customer losses have surged to approximately $650 million, with over 3,600 complaints filed and tens of thousands of victims. The exchange went dark in April 2026, and its Estonian operating license was formally revoked on June 29, 2026. The exchange’s founder, Sylwester Suszek, disappeared in March 2022, while prosecutors have seized roughly 250 terabytes of transaction records and client data. The investigation has also uncovered connections to organized crime.
