Chinese manufacturers shipped more than 18,500 humanoid robots in the first half of 2026, representing 97% of global shipments that reached approximately 19,100 units. Two Shanghai and Hangzhou-based companies dominate the market: AgiBot captured 44% of the global market with roughly 8,400 units, while Unitree Robotics holds 31% with approximately 5,900 units. This represents a 272% year-over-year increase compared to the 5,100 units shipped globally in the first half of 2025. SAG forecasts annual shipments will reach 60,000 units in 2026 and potentially 500,000 by 2030. Both AgiBot and Unitree Robotics are reportedly preparing for potential IPOs to access public capital markets.
