Veteran Shiba Inu community member Mazrael has refuted claims that Shibarium, the ecosystem’s layer 2 solution, is no longer functioning. K9 Finance had claimed that Shibarium had not worked reliably since a hack in September 2025. Mazrael clarified that Shibarium’s infrastructure remains operational, with active validators, thousands of daily transactions, and ongoing migration work. Daily transaction volume stood at 1,530, down from 2,310 on August 20. The ShibariumScan explorer is currently undergoing a reset with only 49 percent of blocks indexed. The KNINE token has been migrated from Shibarium to Base following the dissolution of the K9 Foundation.
