Bitcoin surged to $78,449 during a three-day rally, liquidating more than $4 billion in bearish positions since Wednesday. Spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted more than $1 billion over the same period. CryptoQuant’s Bull Score Index returned to bullish territory at 60, a first since October 2025. The move was driven by short covering, ETF inflows and sustained spot demand, but further gains increasingly depend on continued buying pressure as the pool of vulnerable short positions shrinks.
