Arbitrum Activates Elara With Optional Compliance Filters for Dedicated Chains

Share

Arbitrum activated ArbOS 61 Elara on Aug. 20, introducing optional compliance filters for dedicated chains that allow owners to configure transaction screening through external providers such as TRM Labs or Chainalysis. The upgrade also includes priority-fee support, an alternative data-availability interface and expanded Stylus contract capacity from 24 KB to 96 KB. These features are disabled by default on Arbitrum One and Nova. A BaseFeeManager contract now enables Offchain Labs to adjust base fees between 0.01 and 0.10 gwei, with delegation expiring two years after mainnet activation.
