Hudson River Trading signs multibillion dollar CoreWeave AI computing deal

Hudson River Trading signed a multiyear agreement worth billions of dollars with CoreWeave to expand its computing infrastructure used for trading research and models. As part of this agreement, HRT will become one of the first customers to receive wide-scale access to Nvidia’s new Vera Rubin AI chips. The deal allows CoreWeave to reduce its historical dependence on Microsoft while increasing its exposure to financial services clients. The growing demand for high-performance computing from trading firms reflects the increasing adoption of artificial intelligence in the sector.
