Fairshake, the super PAC backed by Coinbase, Ripple Labs, and other major digital asset players, has directed approximately $2 million toward the special election in Florida’s 24th congressional district. This adds to the $1.5 million already spent on other 2025 special elections. The funding targeted an opponent whose beneficiary was endorsed by a retiring House representative who voted against both the GENIUS Act and the CLARITY Act. These two bills, passed by the House in July 2025 (respectively 308-122 and 294-134 votes), establish a federal framework for stablecoin regulation and the broader digital asset market. Fairshake and its affiliated organizations have collectively raised between $100 million and $193 million across recent election cycles.
