Arthur Hayes, BitMEX co-founder, is returning to an operational role by launching Flop Labs, a crypto project focused on the FLOP token designed to serve as currency within an economy of autonomous AI agents. The project will launch without any presale or venture capital funding, using a 100% fair-launch approach. A massive airdrop is planned for Q4 2026 and the genesis block is expected in Q1 2027. The network relies on a proof-of-useful-inference model where miners provide computational power to execute AI inference tasks and receive FLOP as compensation.
