Bybit intercepted more than $700 million in potential user losses between January 1 and June 15, 2026, blocking over 30,000 suspicious withdrawal requests and protecting close to 20,000 users. This figure far exceeds the $300 million intercepted throughout all of 2025. The exchange also recovered approximately $48.4 million and froze more than $30.5 million across over 28 platforms as part of its lawsuits against North Korea and the Lazarus Group. In February 2025, attackers had stolen roughly $1.46 billion after compromising a cold wallet signing process.
