Payward, the parent company of Kraken, has joined Anthropic’s Project Glasswing and is using Claude Mythos 5 to enhance its cybersecurity capabilities. The company scans its systems for vulnerabilities, with findings sent to its security teams for review and patching. It is the first crypto company to join the project and gain access to this AI model. Over 40 crypto companies, including Coinbase, Block and BitGo, signed an open letter calling on major AI labs to grant qualified security researchers access to their most powerful models. Project partners have uncovered thousands of high or critical-severity vulnerabilities since the program’s launch.
