Binance is reportedly planning to apply for a license with the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to relaunch certain services for UK residents in 2027. Binance’s UK subsidiary, Binance Markets Limited, has been barred from undertaking regulated activities in the country since June 2021. In 2023, Binance halted onboarding of new UK users in response to the FCA’s financial promotions rules. Under the new crypto regulatory framework, companies will have until February 28, 2027, to submit applications, with the regime going live on October 25, 2027.
