Anthropic appears to be moving closer to its IPO, which is considered one of the most closely watched technology listings of 2026. Prediction markets now assign a 70% chance for an October IPO and 83% by year-end. Some investors are targeting a valuation of $2 trillion, more than double the $965 million post-money valuation from the May funding round. The company confidentially filed for a US IPO in June and forecasts revenue of $190 billion to $200 billion in 2028, compared with a $47 billion annualized run rate disclosed in May.
