According to a Financial Times poll, more than 53% of registered voters say their finances have deteriorated since Donald Trump returned to the White House. Nearly 57% of independents and nearly 25% of Republicans feel worse off under the current administration. Trump’s overall disapproval reached 55%, with an especially damaging 64% disapproval rate on inflation and cost of living. Democrats currently lead Republicans 44% to 39% among registered voters heading into November’s midterm elections.
