Norway’s sovereign wealth fund, managed by Norges Bank Investment Management, reached a record indirect Bitcoin exposure of 11,549 BTC as of June 30, 2026, up 60% year-over-year and worth approximately 6.7 billion Norwegian kroner. This exposure comes almost entirely from listed companies holding Bitcoin on their balance sheets, with Strategy alone accounting for 85.8% of the total position. The fund, which manages 22.68 trillion Norwegian kroner in assets, also disclosed a stake in BitMine Immersion Technologies valued at $81.87 million, holding 5.70 million ETH representing 4.7% of Ethereum’s circulating supply. The fund makes no direct crypto purchases; its exposure reflects global market composition and the growing adoption of crypto treasuries by corporations.
