Super Micro Computer shares surged roughly 9% in after-hours trading on August 11, closing at $31.60, after the company issued fiscal 2027 revenue guidance of $65 billion to $72 billion, far exceeding Wall Street’s consensus of around $53 billion. The server maker reported fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue of $11.1 billion to $11.12 billion, representing a 93% year-over-year increase, with non-GAAP earnings per share of $1.70 beating analyst estimates. For the first quarter of fiscal 2027, management guided for sales of $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion. The most striking figure is a record backlog exceeding $60 billion in new orders, already larger than what analysts expected SMCI to generate in total revenue for fiscal 2027.
