Over 2 million DOGE remain trapped on Dogechain, an ethereum-compatible sidechain of Dogecoin, after the network kept producing blocks past its 12:00 UTC shutdown deadline on August 8. The bridge dashboard showed 2,081,715.83 DOGE but no successful post-cutoff withdrawal could be demonstrated. QuickSwap’s Dogechain-specific interface redirected users to Polygon, rendering swap and liquidity tools unavailable. The network continued producing blocks after noon, but the bridge’s ability to process withdrawals remains unproven. At press time, the explorer web page now fails to load.
