Senate delays Clarity Act vote until after August recess, Thune confirms

Senate Majority Leader John Thune confirmed that the vote on the Clarity Act will be delayed until after the August recess. This means the legislation will not be considered by the Senate before September. Thune told The Block that the bill would be ‘queued up first thing’ when senators return.
