Ajax officially approached Barcelona to sign Roony Bardghji, a 20-year-old Swedish winger, on August 6. The Catalan club has received more than ten offers this summer for this player who arrived from FC Copenhagen for approximately 2.5 million euros in 2025. Barcelona prefers a permanent transfer over a loan to generate actual revenue, though any agreement would likely include buy-back or sell-on clauses. Several other clubs have also expressed interest, including Juventus, Marseille, Sunderland and Leeds. Ajax’s sporting director Jordi Cruyff, son of the legendary Johan, has the necessary relationships to facilitate a deal that works for all parties involved.
