Step App, the move-to-earn fitness platform built on Avalanche, is permanently shutting down on August 21 after nearly four years of operation. The platform attracted over 300,000 users across more than 100 countries, who collectively logged over 140 billion steps. Two tokens, FITFI and KCAL, powered the ecosystem, but their utility will evaporate when the platform closes.
