Meta is launching Muse Code, its first AI coding agent, to compete with Anthropic and OpenAI. The tool, developed under the leadership of Alexandr Wang at Meta Superintelligence Labs, works with the Muse Spark 1.2 model and is available in preview with a pay-as-you-go pricing. The contributor tier is more than ten times cheaper than the pay-as-you-go option. Muse Code will be accessible through Meta’s developer page and on the OpenRouter platform.
