Legendary Trader Brandt on Bitcoin: Bull Market ‘Not Urgent’

Veteran trader Peter Brandt sees no compelling technical evidence that Bitcoin is ready to enter a new bull market, aligning with Northstar Charts’ bearish analysis. According to this analysis, Bitcoin remains below key technical resistance after breaking below the 50-week moving average and the Ichimoku Cloud earlier this year. A return to a bullish market would only be conceivable after sustainably reclaiming both indicators, the analyst added. Additionally, 500 BTC dormant for over ten years and 746 BTC aged between three and five years have recently been transferred, adding to market uncertainty. Brandt stopped short of predicting further losses but estimated a durable low was unlikely before October 2026.
