BlackRock launches tokenized money market funds for stablecoin reserves

BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, has launched two tokenized money market products designed to serve as reserve assets for stablecoins. The first product, BSTBL, is a tokenized share class of the Select Treasury Based Liquidity Fund on Ethereum, allowing eligible investors to transfer tokenized shares between approved wallets. The second product, BRSRV, is a newly created tokenized money market fund available to institutional investors, supporting multiple blockchains and automatically reinvesting daily dividends. Both funds are structured to qualify as eligible reserve assets for permitted US payment stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act, enacted in July 2025. BUIDL remains the largest tokenized Treasury fund with more than $2.6 billion in assets.
