However, the past four Augusts have been negative for the asset, with declines of 13.6% in 2022, 26.6% in 2023, 9.17% in 2024, and 8.15% in 2025. According to historical data, only 4 out of 13 Augusts have ended higher for Ripple’s cross-border token. The most significant August gains occurred during bull markets, with a 52% surge in 2017 and a 60% rise in 2021. The median decline for Augusts stands at 6.57%, in stark contrast to the median gain of 6.91% for Julys.
