Index Ventures has raised $2 billion split across three funds: $900 million for its venture fund, $400 million for seed investments, and $700 million to extend its 2024 growth fund. This follows the $2.3 billion the firm raised just in July 2024. Since its founding, Index has now raised over $15 billion and counts more than 100 unicorns in its portfolio, including notable bets on Wiz and Revolut. The new fund contains no specific allocations for digital assets or cryptocurrencies, leaving crypto startups to rely on a smaller pool of specialist funds rather than the broader VC ecosystem.
