Jazzi Cooper, Head of Product at RippleX, has announced the deployment next week of the xrpld 3.3.0 upgrade for the XRPL network. This upgrade includes five fundamental amendments: Confidential MPT, Batch, Permission Delegation, Sponsored Fees and Reserves, and Dynamic MPT. The new features will enable traditional financial institutions, including banks, to use the XRP blockchain for atomic delivery-versus-payment settlements of up to eight transactions. Banking institutions will be able to pay network fees on behalf of their clients, eliminating the need for users to acquire and hold XRP, and token parameters can be dynamically adjusted to comply with new regulatory requirements.
