Chelsea’s regulatory settlement clears the air, but its fan token tells a different story

The club was handed a 10.75 million pound fine and a two-year suspended transfer ban. Chelsea’s fan token CFCT, built on the Chiliz blockchain, was not meaningfully impacted by these regulatory developments. The token’s price and trading activity are instead driven by on-pitch events, such as the appointment of Xabi Alonso as manager. With CHZ trading around 0.014 dollar, the entire fan token infrastructure remains a niche corner of the crypto ecosystem.
