The cyber brigade of Seoul’s metropolitan police arrested three suspects accused of stealing approximately 3.4 million XRP from 71 investors through a fake staking service mimicking Flare Network. The Fxrpntwork.com website, active from October 16 to 23, 2025, caused confirmed losses of 12.3 billion won, equivalent to approximately $8.5 million. However, the detected flows through wallets linked to the group amount to 27.3 billion won, raising fears of additional victims. Police froze 17.3 billion won and a fourth suspect is the subject of an Interpol red notice. The same scam pattern reappeared in 2026 under the name wxrpnetwork.com with at least 35 additional victims.
