BitcoinTreasuries ranked Bitcoin Standard Treasury Company (BSTR) fifth among public companies with 30,021 BTC, worth approximately $1.9 billion, despite no actual Bitcoin purchase occurring. The coins were supposed to come from private placement contributions tied to a SPAC deal with Cantor Equity Partners I that was scrapped on July 8. SEC filings describe the coins as closing-dependent contributions rather than completed corporate holdings. BitcoinTreasuries continues to display the amount as a live reserve without purchase history or pro forma qualifiers. BSTR and CEPO are still negotiating but no replacement terms or completed Bitcoin contributions have been disclosed.
